Waste Collection

South Gloucestershire Council has issued advice to residents affected by the disruption to waste collection services.

They say they are prioritising black bin collections, but may be able to do some recycling collection as well.

Residents are advised to should put out their black bins, recycling and food waste as normal on their  usual collection day. If any items are not collected by 6pm, they should be brought  back in and put them out again on your next scheduled collection day.  They have also been asked not to report this as a missed collection.

Collections are affected by strike action by staff employed by Suez. Normal collections will resume week commencing 19 June but a second phase of strike action is planned from Monday 26 June to Sunday 9 July 2023.
