St Mary’s is a church for the whole community.  As a national church it is there to serve everyone, regardless of belief.  Its functions, events and services are open to all, and its mission is to serve the needs of the community of Bitton and of the other places, large or small that make up the parish.

We encourage use of the church and church hall by community groups, or they can be hired for private functions or gatherings.  Our planned changes seek to expand this use of the buildings so that they can serve the community more extensively.

The annual church fete, held each September is an event that  brings the whole community together as do other events, such as Christmas Services.

We also try to give publicity to community groups by listing their events in our calendar.  Scroll down for a list of community contacts.
