It’s Christian Aid Week
The work that Christian Aid and its partners do is a form of magic.
This year’s focus is on Kenya where people are learning to support them-selves by growing vegetables in the most unlikely places – tiny scraps of land in between the makeshift shacks of shanty towns. Christian Aid’s local partner, Beacon of Hope, is teaching people how to make compost, how to make the best use of tiny pieces of land and how to market their spare vegetables.
Come along to Bitton Church between 5.00pm and 7.00pm on Tuesday 12th May and support the wonderful work of Christian Aid as you enjoy a magic show as well as coffee and cake.
