Annual Church Fête

St Mary’s Annual Church Fête takes place on the first (sometimes the second) Saturday in September, providing a real community event to mark the end of summer.

It’s an afternoon that is designed for enjoyment. An occasion to meet old friends, enjoy a drink and something to eat, play a game or two and perhaps find a bargain at one of the many stalls.

Unlike other events of this kind, St Mary’s Church Fête is strictly non commercial.  Traders are not permitted and all profits go directly to towards the maintenance of the church.

The event is organised and  run by The Fête Committee that meets from April to October to plan and manage all aspects.
